Project management

Website, automation or support: where to start?

I offer four kinds of help: building a website, automating tasks, supporting a project, or providing a ready-made tool. Depending on your situation, one of them is a better starting point than the others. Here is how to find yours.

Your situationGood starting point
You have no website, or it no longer represents youWebsite creation
You lose time on repetitive tasks (files, data entry, exports)Workflow automation
Your need is unclear, or several people disagreeProject support
You want to follow and improve your Google visibilityArticles on search visibility
Your need is common and simpleA first exchange by email to see whether a simple tool or script is enough

If you have no website

Start by defining what the site must allow: introduce yourself, receive enquiries, sell. This guides the choice between WordPress and custom development (the criteria).

If you are losing time

Note the repetitive tasks and how often they happen. Part of them can be handled with a ready-made tool, the rest with a suitable automation (five telltale signs).

If your need is unclear

This is the most common case, and the best moment to pause: a short scoping prevents building the wrong thing. See the importance of specifications.

Combine in the right order

The most successful projects often follow the same sequence: scope the need, deliver in validated steps, then measure what was achieved, with indicators chosen from the start (choosing indicators).

Each service is delivered under an obligation of means, after a quote. The process is detailed in how I work.
